GEM Srl is located in the heart of Tuscany shoe tradition. Thanks to Andrea Marrucci, Alessio Perica and Mirko Lazzeri the Company was born in Cerreto Guidi in 2008.

From the beginning the company was able to stand out. Skills show the focus of the firm: quality.

2012 was a revolutionary year. The company decided to change the location f the factory to have more space and improve internal production and desiner office: nowadays Gem srl is a fundamental support for product development of most important fashion brands.

Design development, quality materials and manufacturing process study are important to create a new style and to make all technical process easier for production.

2016 is the most important year for Gem.

A good strategy choice changes the growth in turnover: Gem decided to leave the project of a personal brand name and to pay attention and investments on production processing and development of the product to be able to work with famous brands.

The fashion excellence works with GEM: the turnover grows from 3,5 million euro in 2015 to 11 million euro in 2021, 90% of them are export.

In 2021 the company decided to apply a specific strategic choice: improving quality with new software for quality check during production processing and final control.

The work is selfmade. It is for our products, our history and experience. Designers meet craftsmen: opposite ideas are combined. Sometimes they discuss but the still love each other.
